Pantone has crowned Radiant Orchid the 2014 Color of the Year, an exciting but unsurprising announcement given that all of the colors found on a peacock’s tail have been en vogue for several years now. Emerald Green was 2013’s Color of the Year, so it makes sense that purple and green combinations were all the rage at this year’s design shows. They are a lush, vivid pair that can add drama to any room.
